JCDecaux pushes NFC mobile offering

JCDecaux Transport has kicked-off of the second wave of its “MTR Advertising InterActiveAds e-game campaign” this time bring in SONY Xperia Z and Nicotinell as advertisers.

JCDecaux said the first phase of the campaign with OSIM and SK-II ended successfully, with a “tremendous response” to the “Snap More, Get More Fun” game enabled by QR codes installed on the e 4-sheet and e 12-sheet lightbox panels at all MTR stations.

In a press release Amy Chan, managing director of JCDecaux Transport, said the group hoped to achieve “true passenger engagement” with its new offering.

The latest push sees SONY Xperia Z ask participants to enter their mobile numbers to collect e-coins and win prizes.

Likewise Nicotinell is asking people to suggest ways to quit smoking. Suggestions with the most “Likes” will be offered prizes of up to HK$1,000.
