DBS Bank has appointed former Jabra marketing head Saurabh Singhal (pictured) as executive director, head of regional marketing. In this newly-created role, he reports to Sivea Pascale, managing director, regional wealth, segments and marketing.
Following the appointment, Singhal will be tasked with leading regional marketing for DBS’ consumer banking group across six markets. These markets are Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and India and will see him being based in Singapore. He will also help drive DBS’ expansion in these markets in a bid to make DBS the bank of choice, a statement read.
On top of leading the bank’s digital and platform marketing initiatives, Singhal will also be driving MarTech adoption with platforms and technology teams, as well as contextual marketing to stay relevant and engaging.
During his four-year tenure at Jabra as head of marketing, Singhal drove marketing programs and business development activities as part of the brand’s APAC leadership team. His job comprised B2B and B2C marketing programs, high touch customer marketing programs, designing and implementing channel programs, regional PR and Communications and digital marketing strategies, to name a few.
Singhal has also held marketing positions at Avaya, Cisco, HP, Microsoft and Infosys.
Marketing has reached out to Jabra on Singhal’s replacement.
