International Workspace Group (IWG) has appointed Sinclair to lead its corporate communications strategy in Mainland China.

Based out of the agency's Shanghai hub, Sinclair will help the flexible workspace provider grow its reputation among business leaders, consumers and the media across the Mainland, positioning the brand's executives as thought leaders and pioneers in the future of work.

Already operating in 1,100 cities and towns in more than 120 countries, IWG has operated in China for over 26 years across 121 locations. Earlier this year, the company signed its largest deal to date with NTT, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, granting the telecom giant's global network access to over 3,300 flexible workspaces worldwide.

“IWG created the flexible workspace industry and has led it from the beginning, evolving and adapting as the needs of business and individuals have changed over time. It is rare that an agency has the opportunity to work with a client that has had such a profound impact on our daily lives, and we are delighted to be IWG’s communications partner for the Mainland China market," said Kiri Sinclair, founder and CEO of Sinclair.

"As an agency, Sinclair has also adapted to market needs over time. Sinclair’s portfolio of corporate clients has grown steadily over the years and the addition of IWG to this roster is a testament to the expertise of our team and their ability to build strong insight-driven strategies. We look forward to working with IWG during this period of ambitious growth, reinforcing their position as industry pioneers and drivers of the workspace revolution," she added.
