Ronald Ng, Isobar's EVP and global CCO, has joined McCann Worldgroup's MRM as EVP, global chief creative officer, based in New York. Ng (pictured) was previously with Isobar for more than two years and was responsible for collaborating closely with teams across 85 offices in 45 markets. Reporting to global CEO Jean Lin, he also worked with Isobar's global creative and design, technology, strategy, delivery and new business leads around the network.

Prior to that, he was with Digitas for close to four years, last helming the role of global chief creative officer. He first joined as chief creative officer for North America in 2015, according to his LinkedIn. Ng also worked at BBDO/Proximity in CCO and EVP/ECD roles in its Malaysia, New York and Singapore offices.

Ng said he cannot wait to partner with MRM's global CEO Kate MacNevin and McCann Worldgroup's global creative chairman Rob Reilly, as well as teams and clients to connect the dots between technology, data, commerce and strategy, and value add it with creativity. "When we crack the code for innovative experiences, there is unlimited potential for what we can achieve together," he added.

MacNevin described Ng to be "an incredible talent with a passion for creative technology and a record of innovation" that makes him the perfect global creative leader for MRM. Meanwhile, Reilly said Ronald is "the gold standard" when it comes to the combination of being wildly inspiring and a genuinely good person. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to Ng for additional comment on his new role.

In a statement to MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Isobar's spokesperson said: "We thank him for his valued contribution in his time at Isobar and for being a true champion of creativity and his leadership and mentorship to our creative team. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours, and we will be announcing the succession plan in due course."
