Jean Lin, CEO of Isobar Asia Pacific, has been named global CEO of the digital agency with immediate effect.
She will lead the network from Shanghai and takes over the role from Mark Cranmer, who has stepped down from the leadership of Isobar and will leave the company in June 2014.

Jerry Buhlmann, CEO Dentsu Aegis Network, described Lin as one of the agency's most talented leaders.
"Jean’s appointment is the natural next step, having made stunning progress in developing her own business, and then Isobar, across Taiwan, China and the Asia Pacific region," he said.
"Under Jean’s leadership in Asia Pacific Isobar has become one of the most awarded digital agencies. Jean will bring her own creative talent, integrity and energy to the role and I know has ambitious plans for Isobar going forward."
Cranmer, who takes the role of chairman to oversee the management transition, said after five years, it was the right time to hand over the reins.
"Jean has always been a visionary and pioneering leader, and having played a pivotal role in the Isobar leadership team, there is no one better placed to take the agency to the next level."
"It’s been a fantastic journey working with such committed and passionate people at Isobar, and previously at iProspect, and I feel fortunate to have played my part in growing Isobar into the global, digital agency it is today."
Lin founded wwwins Consulting in Taiwan in 1999 and later sold the company to Aegis and oversaw its global expansion and merger with the Isobar network.
