ISC Innovators has beefed up its team with five new staff, four of whom were previously with its former TBWA-ISC joint venture. They are chief financial officer Thillai Varna, special projects director Venkatesh Raj, interactive services director Joe Najib, creative director Hor Wing Kit and public relations director Natalie Narayanan. All, except for Hor, had formerly worked at TBWA-ISC."The more than 20 innovators we have, after just 12 months of re-activation, have all contributed to our ability to secure more than a dozen clients to date," said executive creative director Paul Lingan.Varna was ISC's longest-serving CFO, holding its financial reigns from 1995/96 to 2004/5 including overseeing the financial transition from ISC to its initial TBWA affiliation in 1999/2000 and its joint-venture in TBWA-ISC by mid-2001.Raj joined Pernod Ricard in early-2011 as its marketing and sales manager before deciding to return to agency life.Najib has been with a number of other digital agencies and interactive service companies over the past six years.Narayanan was public relations manager at former TBWA-ISC agency, while Hor, Australian schooled and trained, is one of ISC Innovators' younger professionals at only 30.ISC was founded in April 1994 by Dato Mukhriz Mahathir and long-time agency veteran Austen Zecha, following the latter's series of sales of his former agencies to the likes of JWT, Saatchi & Saatchi and Edelman Public Relations, among others, prior to its former joint venture with TBWA.The photo shows, from left, Joe Najib, Thillai Varna, Natalie Narayanan, Hor Wing Kit and Venkatesh Raj.
