Miranda Cheung, country manager of Ipsos Singapore, has taken up a new leadership role as Ipsos Malaysia’s country manager, adding on to her current role. Steve Murphy, Ipsos' previous country manager for Malaysia has left the company.
Lifeng Liu, CEO of Ipsos APAC said that Ipsos is committed to growing the business in Malaysia as an important market, a global hub for data processing and for its global modelling units.
“With Miranda at the helm for both Malaysia and Singapore, we will be able to effectively leverage the strengths of each market to provide better value to our clients both locally and regionally.”
Cheung shared her excitement for leading both the offices, saying that Ipsos Malaysia is set up with a strong focus on operational efficiency and excellence; with Singapore being a critical market for clients who rely on the company for its international reach.
“We will certainly work towards building on the strengths of the neighbouring offices to the benefits of our clients and people.”
She has led the Singapore office since 2005.
