Catcha Media subsidiaries and Says Sdn Bhd completed their merge to form Rev Media Equity Holdings (Rev Asia).
Rev Asia aims to become Malaysia's largest digital media group through the combined digital data and social network that both companies bring to the table, respectively.
The merger claims to have an estimated 14 million people per month reach and users.
Rev Asia will be led by a board of directors, spearheaded by Khailee Ng (pictured), co-founder and chief executive officer of SAYS.com. Other notable members include Patrick Grove, group chief executive officer of Catcha Group, Catcha Group executive director Luke Elliott and SAYS.com co-founder Joel Noh, who is also head of Asia Pacific for Groupon.
Ng said, "The future of digital marketing is enormous and we’re extremely excited about the possibilities that Rev Asia will be able to present to advertisers looking to speak directly to ASEAN’s growing, socially-connected, tech-savvy populace.”
The company has plans to expand its operations to the Philippines and Singapore by the end of 2013.
