INTI students share their thoughts on PM Mahathir in new heartfelt video

INTI International College Subang (INTI) has put together a Facebook video titled "My Love Letter to Tun Dr Mahathir", giving five students the opportunity to share their personal views and aspirations with the new Prime Minister.

The idea stemmed from an Instagram Story on INTI's Instagram page, which asked its students what they would like to say to the PM if given a chance. The in-house video garnered over 1.1k reactions, 74k views, 85 shares and 7 comments on Facebook at the time of writing. The video also encouraged students to share their opinions and be more attuned to social and civic engagement through discussions on political and social matters.

The students said they were grateful for the PM's comeback into the political scene and making a change for a better Malaysia, adding that they were inspired by his actions on driving progress in the country despite his age.

Some said they feel blessed to be a part of these exciting times in Malaysia and that Malaysian youths are the drivers of change for the country, while others hope that more individuals would be proud of identifying themselves as Malaysians as the country moves forward into a new era. The students also said they were proud to see Malaysia appoint its first female Deputy Prime Minister and hope to have more women representation in politics.
