Intel in the midst of PR review

Intel is in the midst of reviewing its PR business for Singapore and Malaysia, having shortlisted several agencies.Nick Jacobs, PR director of Intel Asia Pacific & Japan confirmed that the review was ongoing, with the objective of managing both markets as one entity. He added that a decision had not been made for the new agency.The incumbents for Singapore and Malaysia are Text 100 and Priority Communications respectively.Globally, Intel is aligned with WPP for public relations. In Asia Pacific, its agency is Ogilvy PR. However, on a local level, the brand has the autonomy to work with other agencies, Jacobs told Marketing.Intel recently released several ad campaigns in markets in the region, such as its campaign with badminton star Lin Dan (pictured) and another by Bates CHI late last year.
