Brand and social media managers can finally have a personality of their own whilst managing their company Instagram profiles. The platform has finally launched a new feature that allows users to handle multiple accounts.
Users need to simply add an additional account and tap their usernames at the top of your profile to switch between accounts. According to Tech Crunch, since last November, Instagram was testing the feature on Android with a select group of users.
The move is a much awaited one. Currently, social media giants such Facebook and Twitter already allow users to move seamlessly across multiple profiles.
Late last year Instagram launched its Partners Programme in a bid to monetise its offerings. The proramme brought on board “a set of experts vetted for excellence ready” to help businesses grow on Instagram. The platform inked deals with 40 partners including familiar names such Adobe, Brand Networks,Salesforce, Kenshoo and ReFUEL4 amongst others. The partners Instagram brought on board have three key areas of expertise on the platform: ad tech, community management and content marketing.
Meanwhile, parent company Facebook was also said to be powering up ad tools on Instagram late last year..
