InMobi, global mobile advertising and discovery platform, has partnered with Moblaze, a mobile-specialist agency for the Indochina region. With this partnership, InMobi plans increase its reach across the region while doubling down on its presence in Vietnam, stated the company in a press release.
According to a report by Euromonitor, smartphones, in Vietnam, accounted for 67% of mobile phone volumes and government is targeting coverage of residential homes with 3G and 4G networks by 2020. Moreover, according to an InMobi proprietary study, people in Vietnam spend 140% more time on mobile devices than on TV, providing brands with numerous engagement opportunities on a device as personal as a smartphone.
“Vietnam has been a good market for us and now, our partnership with Moblaze enables us to leverage their proven on-ground experience to rapidly scale across the region,” said Prashant Choudhary (pictured), director - sales, SEA, InMobi.
“Typical social-media posts are static in nature and don’t offer deep engagement opportunities. To overcome these limitations, we leverage the richness offered by mobile devices and create high-impact, immersive brand experiences for consumers across mobile real-estates. Layer this with InMobi’s cutting-edge location technology and audience solutions and you have a very compelling mobile solution for brands and agencies,” added Tarun Dhawan, MD, Moblaze.
