Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) has appointed Ovidia Nomia (pictured) as senior vice president, head of corporate communications, as the company sharpens its focus on communications as a strategic function amid its transformation into an AI-driven organisation.
The appointment underscores Indosat’s efforts to build trust, maintain clarity of purpose, and deliver consistent narratives as the telecommunications industry continues to evolve rapidly, the company said. In her new role, Nomia will lead Indosat’s corporate communications strategy and work closely with the leadership team to translate business priorities, its AI agenda, and key transformation milestones into clear and credible messages for stakeholders.
As the head of corporate communications, she will also provide strategic leadership on trust, reputation, and narrative, ensuring alignment between Indosat’s business strategy and external communications.

Guided by its “AI NorthStar” framework, Indosat is also investing in national AI capacity through initiatives such as AI Experience Centres in Papua and Solo, reflecting a dual focus on commercial innovation and digital inclusion.
