Impossible Foods launches charity food trucks with Swire Properties partnership

Vegetarian meat-alternative specialists, Impossible Foods is partnering with Taikoo Place and various restaurant partners for a food truck charity initiative taking place from May to July. Swire Properties is running a series of events to celebrate the transformation of Taikoo Place from a commercial hub to a working and lifestyle destination. The partnership with Impossible Foods will promote the idea of delectable but sustainable food to the wider community, which echoes with Swire Properties’ sustainable development strategy.Following the launch on 6 May with Pici, the Impossible Foods food truck will serve up dishes from grassroots burger restaurant Honbo to residents and workers at Taikoo Place.Impossible Foods x Hobo Food TruckThe Impossible x Honbo truck will run from 20 May to 14 June. Customers can choose from classics such as The Impossible Burger, The Impossible Cheese Burger and two alternating speciality burgers, The Impossible J.I.F.O Burger and the Impossible X.O. Burger. Fries and drinks will also be available to purchase. In support of local charities, 10% of all proceeds will go to Catherine’s Puppies, a Sai Kung based charity that works to rescue and rehome stray dogs.From 17 June to 12 July, Impossible Foods and Taikoo Place will launch their next food truck partnership with Hong Kong’s green caterer Invisible Kitchen. More restaurant collaborations will follow in the Summer.
