IKEA Hong Kong has revamped its website with new features to provide better offline and online customer experiences.
The revamped website aims to offer convenience and flexibility for customers. It’s compatible for mobile devices and computers, with product information – such as main features, materials, prices, and stock availability – accessible for viewing.
Interestingly, customers may now also apply filters based on products’ prices, sizes, series, and styles. And after selecting their items, customers can now make a comparison between their chosen products. New items and special offers can also be singled out for further convenience.
As for delivery, after settling payment, customers can choose their preferred pick-up locations, home delivery, and office parcel delivery, with the new website providing delivery status tracking.
Last but not least, members of IKEA Hong Kong will be able to log in and make repeat purchases based on product information available in the purchase history since the updated website has launched.
“Online shopping opens up more business opportunities for brands by transcending the limitations of the opening hours at physical stores. Through its functionality upgrade, the website now inspires customers with more home decor ideas, while saving them time and energy during product selection,” said Roxy Cheng, country marketing manager of IKEA.
Furthermore, in celebration of the website revamp, IKEA Hong Kong is launching weekly food and beverage special offers across all branches of IKEA Bistro and its Swedish Food Market. So yes, the queue for your hard-earned meatballs following the march through the labyrinth will likely be longer.
