iflix co-founder Patrick Grove takes on job as GrabShare driver

iflix and Grab Malaysia have partnered up for a marketing campaign that comes with a hilarious twist. The campaign comes shortly after Patrick Grove, co-founder of iflix and Anthony Tan, co-founder and group CEO of Grab made a bet during their face-off at a conference earlier this year. The bet, which saw the two face off on a video game, said that if Grove lost, he would need to drive a GrabShare car for a day around Kuala Lumpur. Meanwhile if Tan lost, he would need to give one person in the audience RM1,000 worth of Grab rides.Unfortunately for Grove, losing the bet, he had to fulfil his promise of being a GrabShare driver. However he had the help of several of iflix's comedians from the original production, Oi! Jaga Mulut. Joining Grove was Joanne Kam Poh Poh, Malaysia’s veteran female comedian and Keren Bala Devan, fondly known as the “Angry Indian.”The rambunctious group took to the streets of Kuala Lumpur last month, providing a live in-car entertainment and laughter throughout each passenger’s journey. Its teaser, which was short but truly funny was uploaded yesterday:Check out its full video posted earlier today on YouTube below:https://youtu.be/C7XxT9nNArc
