Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors names new dealer in Selangor

Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors, the official distributor of Hyundai automobiles in Malaysia, has awarded rights to MeGroup to operate a Hyundai 3S automobile dealership Bandar Bukit Raja in Selangor.

As a result, MeGroup incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary MN Automart to manage the new dealership which will be offering new models such as Elantra, IONIQ, Tucson, SantaFe and Starex. The dealership is slated to be fully operational in the second half of 2019. This follows shortly after MeGroup renewed its Mazda dealership agreement for another three years with Bermaz Motor Trading.

Wong Cheong Chee, executive chairman and CEO of MeGroup, said the Hyundai addition to its portfolio of brands further cements its reputation as a "reliable and trusted" company. “We had also recently received approval to operate a third Peugeot dealership as well as renewed our agreement to continue the Mazda dealership. Together, the group will operate seven dealerships under its wings, and we are committed in growing this business so as to bring valuable returns to our shareholders," Wong added.
