Hypetap opens Sydney office, appoints Shane Holmes as managing partner

Hypetap has expanded its national presence with the launch of a Sydney office, appointing Shane Holmes as managing partner to lead the new operation.

The move follows Hypetap’s international expansion in 2024 with the opening of its London office, and is aimed at strengthening the influencer marketing agency’s service to a growing base of Sydney-headquartered clients.

In his new role, Holmes will be responsible for building the Sydney team, driving growth, and fostering client relationships. The office will complement Hypetap’s Melbourne headquarters with localised support and strategic capabilities.

Holmes joins from AKQA, where he was group client partner, and has also held senior roles at whiteGREY, CHE Proximity, and FCB Canada.

Holmes reports directly to Coombe, with the appointment effective immediately.
