Human Resources plots aggressive regional expansion

B2B media and events brand Human Resources has announced an ambitious regional expansion plan involving print & digital media, conferences and awards shows. To date, the 10-year old brand has confined much of its activity in Singapore but from 2015 the brand seeks to roll out its products in Hong Kong, Malaysia and the Philippines.“In September last year we made the decision to pursue the opportunity Human Resources had to own the HR space in Asia so we made some personnel changes and put a bold plan together,” said Justin Randles, publisher of Human Resources. “We’ve doubled the size of the team, upgraded our planning processes and invested in our products – now we’re working hard and we’re looking forward to seeing what we can achieve.”In print, Human Resources magazine will now be published in Hong Kong and Malaysia as well as Singapore, as will the daily email newsletter, HR Bulletin. The very successful HR Excellence Awards has expanded north from Singapore and Malaysia to include Hong Kong and the brand new Asia Recruitment Awards has been launched in all three markets.On the conference front, flagship event Talent Management Asia will also be rolled out in Malaysia and Hong Kong as will Training & Development Asia and Employee Benefits Asia. Four new invitation-only, 1-day “Interactive” conferences have been launched – Workforce Mobility Interactive, Recruitment Interactive, HR Tech Interactive, and Employee Healthcare Interactive – and will run in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Human Resources’ exclusive, in-residence retreat, the HR Leaders Summit, has been expanded and will run again at the Angsana Laguna beach resort in Phuket in May.In addition, Human Resources has signed a licence agreement with Learning Curve Inc in Manila to launch the brand’s media and event products in the Philippines market.
