HSBC has launched a “DuoVerse” music show, a live music show sychronised between real-world and the metaverse, done in collaboration of two local singers Tyson Yoshi and Serrini.

The hybrid music show acts as an immersive crossover experience of live music across the real world and the metaverse featuring two of the most celebrated local artists. The show will be held on 11 February 2023 at Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Centre, as well as HSBC Metaverse Stadium.

Users and audience can immerse in the live performance in the real-world and metaverse simultaneously, as well as feeling the artists powerful voices while enjoying zero-distance interactions.

Furthermore, users and audience could switch up their avatars’ outfits whenever they want for the most epic party look, and also choose to enter the metaverse best-dressed competition during the show to win special prizes.

Previously in September, HSBC has unveiled a series of virtual rugby quests in The Sandbox, to present an immersive and unique experience of the sport in the metaverse. The campaign coincides with the much-anticipated return of the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens from 4 to 6 November following the tournament’s three year-long hiatus.

To celebrate the highly anticipated return of the Hong Kong Sevens, HSBC will be staging a virtual stadium in The Sandbox from 24 October to 14 November to activate its first community initiative there.

The public will be able to immerse themselves in rugby through six exciting quests that will take place in different locations around the stadium, comprising action-packed challenges, engaging mini games and educational quizzes related to the sport.
