In the mood to make a difference? For the next 24 hours, HSBC invites users of the PayMe app to join the #PayMeForGood campaign to support meaningful causes with an easy digital donation.

For the campaign, which runs from 12:00 p.m. on 15 September to 12:00 p.m. on 16 September, HSBC has partnered with five Hong Kong charitable organisations â€” The Community Chest of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation, Hong Kong Red Cross, ImpactHK and UNICEF Hong Kong â€” to support those in need.

“As Hong Kong’s home-grown digital payment app, PayMe has become an integral part of our daily lives," said Kerry Wong, head of PayMe, HSBC. "With our mission to make payment simpler for Hong Kong people, PayMe continues to elevate user experiences and expand our reach to businesses and organisations with digital payment collection needs."

"Through the ‘PayMe For Good’ charity campaign, PayMe for Business connects charitable organisations with our ever-growing community, enabling us to join hands and help those in need in the easiest way possible," she added.

To participate, PayMe users simply need to click the PayLink or scan the PayCode on the website of their charity of choice, and send HKD$50 or more with "#PayMeForGood" in the payment message. Charitable gifts will go even further, as PayMe will donate an additional HKD$10 for the first donation of HKD$50 or more by a PayMe user, up to 50,000 donations.
