Hospitality meets wellness: RedDoorz adds in-room massages via bTaskee

RedDoorz is now offering in-room massage services across 12 of its Indonesian properties - thanks to a new partnership with home services platform bTaskee.

The move is designed to elevate the guest experience through wellness. Guests in Jakarta, Bandung, Tangerang-Karawaci, Yogyakarta, and Bali can now book certified massage therapists directly to their rooms, with options ranging from full-body treatments to reflexology.

"Massage helps release muscle tension, reduces stress levels, and gives a profound sense of calm," said Diana Liudin (pictured, left), marketing manager of bTaskee Indonesia, in a release. "We want to ensure that every RedDoorz guest can fully enjoy their rest without worrying about fatigue or difficulty sleeping."

The offering taps into a growing trend in hospitality - where comfort is no longer limited to clean sheets and hot showers. It's about recovery. A cited study from the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine noted that 78% of regular massage recipients report improved sleep quality.

Bookings don't require an app. Guests can request the massage service through the hotel reception. All therapists - called "Taskers" - are certified and bring at least two years of experience.

Cut Nany Indriani (pictured, right), head of marketing at RedDoorz Indonesia, sees the tie-up as a way to build value for guests without expanding square footage. "RedDoorz welcomes this strategic partnership with bTaskee in providing additional services at our partner properties. This service is expected to be a value-add that enriches the stay experience, offering comfort and ease of relaxation without having to leave the hotel area," she said.

With tourism returning and traveller expectations rising, the collaboration targets both local and international guests. RedDoorz said more properties could be added in the near future.

Nathan Do, founder and CEO of bTaskee, called the partnership a natural extension of bTaskee's vision as it expands in the country. "We are very excited about this collaboration and hope to deliver an unforgettable stay experience for RedDoorz guests. With bTaskee's professional massage services, we want to make sure each guest gets the care their body needs to recover from daily fatigue," said Do.

Since launching in 2015, RedDoorz has become a regional force in Southeast Asia's budget hospitality space. With operations spanning Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand, the platform has scaled aggressively - now supporting over 4,400 properties under its portfolio, including sub-brands such as SANS, URBANVIEW, and The Lavana.

However, RedDoorz offers more than just room bookings. The company positions itself as a full-stack hospitality enabler, equipping hotel owners with tools to optimise pricing, distribution, customer experience, and marketing - all underpinned by a proprietary tech infrastructure.
