HKTDC’s MarketingPulse tracks global pulse of marketing

Asia’s premier marketing event, MarketingPulse will take place on 15 March 2023, along with eTailingPulse at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

“MarketingPulse and eTailingPulse 2023 will demonstrate how to create value for customers and engender new marketing and e-tailing experiences. Industry experts from across the world are invited to shed lights on new marketing and e-tailing trends, as well as growth opportunities and arm every marketer and e-tailer with essential skills to design future-proof business plans in this ever-evolving world,” said Anna Cheung, director, service promotion, Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council under the theme “Master the Future”, this 2-in-1 event serves as an integrated knowledge exchange platform tailored for PR, marketing and eCommerce professionals to take a deep dive into topics including ESG marketing, web3 and innovation, data-driven marketing, virtual influencers, what’s next for Gen Z, martech applications amongst others.

Embracing the ever-changing global trends

The event features world-renowned creative minds who lead, shape and inspire global brands. Mauro Porcini, global chief design officer of PepsiCo, will provide attendees with tips on infusing design thinking into brand storytelling. Legendary jewellery brand founder, Dennis Chan of Qeelin will talk about the art of brand creation, and Margareth Henriquez and Clément Brunet-Moret, global and APAC CEO of Baccarat will share with audience the art of marketing for luxurious brands, while Carmen Chiu, regional managing director, APAC, Fortnum & Mason will tell the story on how to evolve a brand to stay abreast of the latest trends.

Mastering the art of scientific and technological marketing

Silvia Garcia, former director of global marketing of Coca-Cola will share her passion and expertise in applying neuromarketing and experience in leading one of the world’s most prestigious brands and unveil how happiness helps brands reach customers’ hearts. Moritz von der Linden, former global chief digital marketing officer of Mars Inc, will share inspirational tips on exploiting technologies to accelerate marketing innovation.

Preparing for future marketing success

Hear from Gaëtan Belaud, global head of ads resellers of Spotify for insider tricks and tips for brands and marketers to win the hearts of Gen Z. Arnault Castel, founder of local lifestyle select brand kapok, has more than two decades of knowledge and understanding of the Asian consumer goods and retail environment. He will unveil the future of retail and online-to-offline (O2O) landscape in Hong Kong.

The Pulse series spotlight visions and creative ideas

MarketingPulse, eTailingPulse and EntertainmentPulse – the Pulse series - will take place concurrently in the third week of March. The concurrent events will facilitate executives from across the marketing, entertainment and eCommerce sectors to network, collaborate and create. “The Pulse series brings together experts across marketing, entertainment and eCommerce sectors providing valuable insights across multiple disciplines.
