Hong Kong's telecoms company HKBN has unveiled N mobile, a new travel and lifestyle mobile brand that combines local and overseas travel and leisure experiences.
The launch of N mobile comes as HongKongers are well-known for their love of travel and leisure activities such as exploring local attractions, heading north across the border for leisure and travelling abroad, according to Kenneth She (pictured centred), chief transformation officer, HKBN.
With the brand philosophy of “endless choices, endless possibilities”, N mobile is designed for individuals with a deep passion for travel, exploration and living life to the fullest. It aims to ensure customers who are seeking a local experience or an adventure abroad remain connected.
N mobile includes features such as local mobile data, flexible mix-and-match pricing plans, a “use now, pay later” roaming data service, a voice roaming app and network security.
Beyond the mix-and-match mobile plans, N mobile also offers Global SIM travel data service and Global Talk+ to provide seamless "local + overseas" mobile services. While the Global SIM covers over 85 countries and regions worldwide, Global Talk+ allows users anywhere in the world to receive free incoming calls from overseas and make calls to Hong Kong phone numbers. It also allows users to call overseas restaurants and hotels at a discounted rate.
Additionally, N mobile has collaborated with foodpanda, agoda, AlipayHK and kkday to provide an array of exclusive welcome offers for customers who register for N mobile plans. For example, N mobile will offer three months of complimentary pandapro membership from foodpanda and has collaborated with AlipayHK to offer HK$1 for any ride on Shenzhen Meto.
She also said that while N mobile positioned itself as a platform dedicated to offering the best travel and leisure experiences to its users, the brand partners selected by N mobile are renowned and experienced in these specific aspects.
In terms of marketing strategies, She said N mobile plans to implement various promotional activities both online and offline such as social media and in-store promotions.
“N mobile brings a distinctive new communications experience, catering to both local and overseas needs at a single price with an array of irresistible offers from our partners. It delivers truly exceptional value to our customers,“ She added.
Don't msis: HKBN unit unveils IT solution for medium to large enterprises
Back in July, HKBN Enterprise Solutions (HKBNES) launched AegisConnect, a one-stop connectivity solution that aims to provide a seamless and secure IT network for medium to large enterprises.
According to the company, AegisConnect is designed to relieve enterprises from many IT challenges that come with legacy-ridden infrastructures, all while enhancing business resilience and efficiency. It also helps identify network fatigue before a network outage actually happens.
