Hong Kong Airlines (HKA) and Zurich Insurance Hong Kong (Zurich) have teamed up to roll out a series of social media campaigns themed "Fly high with Zurich" in the second half of 2025.
This comes after HKA and Zurich partnered up to launch the first-ever Zurich HKA Travel Insurance Plan, exclusively for HKA passengers. The initiative enables travellers to secure travel protection conveniently during flight bookings, ensuring comprehensive coverage through simple online clicks.
The launch has been timed to align with the peak travel season, when demand for travel-related services typically surges. The partnership integrates insurance options directly into HKA's digital booking platform, enabling customers to add discounted coverage during the purchase process through the airline's website or mobile application.
To celebrate the collaboration, a series of campaigns will be launched across social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, giving away free round-trip flight tickets to select destinations.
Jeff Sun (pictured fourth right), president of HKA, said: “As Hong Kong Airlines evolves from a regional carrier to an international airline and expands its network across North America and the AsiaPacific region, we remain committed to providing our passengers with enhanced travel protection. Our partnership with Zurich delivers a robust insurance solution, empowering travellers with comprehensive coverage that ensures they can explore the world worry-free.”
Eric Hui (pictured fourth left), chief executive officer of Zurich Insurance (Greater China), said: "We are delighted to collaborate with Hong Kong Airlines to unlock a one-stop service that further streamlines the insurance process. This collaboration allows travellers to easily add comprehensive travel insurance coverage immediately after purchasing their flight tickets. The entire process takes as little as five minutes, greatly enhancing customer experience and ensuring peace of mind during their journey."
