Séverin Naudet has been appointed global head of Havas Media's Socialyse to steer the company's development and growth. Socialyse is Havas' affiliate, and develops global marketing strategies on social networks.
The company has a presence over fifty countries and brings together experts in social strategy to help brands develop their activities, move into new growth markets and control their image.
Naudet was most recently the advisor to the French prime minister on internet and multi-media issues. Since May 2007 until recently, he was working within the PM's office, and led the e-government and e-administration reforms.
Naudet began his career with Virgin Music, where he worked with the biggest French and international artists and then left the giant to found his own publishing and music production company in Paris and New York. He also was an advisor on the cultural industries and media within the French Ministry of Culture and Communication and in 2006, he joined the founders of Dailymotion as VP and content director.
