Havas Red has expanded its Australian leadership team, appointing Erin Sing as executive director Melbourne.

Sing brings some 16 years experience across corporate comms, public affairs and marketing. She will lead the Melbourne office while driving growth across PR, social, influencer, content and experiential.

Prior to a short stint at food manufacturing group Kinrise, Sing spent more than five years with Mars, most recently as senior manager of external communications and public affairs. Havas Red Australia CEO Shane Russell said the appointment reflects both momentum and market ambition.

“Melbourne is home to some of our largest and longest-standing client partnerships, and we’re seeing strong demand for integrated, earned-first communications,” Russell said.

“Erin’s experience on both the agency and client side makes her the ideal leader to accelerate our ambitions and deepen our impact in market.”

Sing most recently held senior external communications and public affairs roles at Mars Australia and New Zealand, alongside corporate affairs leadership at Kinrise. Earlier, she co-founded Melbourne-based PR and marketing agency Modern Currency. She said Havas Red’s integrated structure and challenger mindset were key drawcards.

“Havas Red has a clear point of view on the role of earned, a strong mix of clients and a collaborative culture that encourages integrated thinking and outcomes,” Sing said.

“Having most recently worked client side, I can bring a level of strategic and commercial understanding of client expectations, operations and pressures, and translate that into a stronger agency-client partnership.”

Havas Red operates nationally with more than 90 staff across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Hobart. Its Melbourne client portfolio includes Toyota Motor Corporation Australia (Toyota and Lexus brands), L’Oréal, Tangerine, Make-A-Wish, Siemens Healthineers, Village Roadshow, Findex and Thermomix.

The agency also plays across major sporting and cultural events, supporting brand activations tied to the Melbourne Cup Carnival, AFL Grand Final, NBL and A-League. Sing's appointment follows the addition of Nicole Streete as executive director Brisbane in late 2025 and comes off the back of a strong year of client wins and the launch of a new Havas Village in Richmond.
