To celebrate Chinese New Year, Hang Lung Properties launched a new wave of collaborations with Disney and houseware brand Red-A, bringing festive decorations and products to its shopping malls across Hong Kong.

The collaboration – “Mick” the Holidays Bright campaign – is showcasing several giant installations and decorations at Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay.

Based on the latest style guide of Mickey Mouse, the decorations showcase two Mickey Mouse-inspired lion heads at the entrance of Fashion Walk.

Outside Fashion Walk, a chair was redesigned into Red-A’s iconic red lampshade chair, making it a photogenic spot for passers-by.

Meanwhile, at Fashion Walk’s Food Street, a giant Mickey Mouse figure is surrounded by small windmills in front of the neon background with distinctive Chinese New Year decorations, along with plenty of Red-A lampshades installed above the decoration.

Fashion Walk has also collaborated with Disney and boutique fashion store INCREDIBLE to launch a pop-up store at Fashion Walk, offering a series of limited Mickey-inspired “Red-A X INCREDIBLE” products for sale, including microwave rice cookers, mugs, bowls with lids, soap dishes, and a Mickey broth cooker for the microwave oven.

In the store of INCREDIBLE, a number of Mickey Mouse-themed artworks echoing Red-A’s products spanning different decades is also available.

The campaign is running until 16 February with shopping privileges at Fashion Walk, Grand Plaza, Hollywood Plaza, Gala Place, Amoy Plaza, Kornhill Plaza, and Peak Galleria.
