Gushcloud partners Lotte Group to further push into South Korea market

Gushcloud International has partnered with Lotte Group’s marketing unit, Daehong Communications. Through this partnership, Gushcloud International will share its resources within the fields of influencer and content marketing within Asia. Meanwhile, Daehong Communications will provide its deep insights and competencies with regards to integrated marketing strategies that include offline strategies.

Gushcloud International will also be working closely with Daehong Communications to penetrate the South Korean markets via influencer marketing. In addition, the two parties will work towards creating awareness for Lotte Group’s key consumer brands into parts of Asia.

Meanwhile, Daehong Communications aims to reinforce its global digital competency to target important overseas markets such as Southeast Asia, namely Indonesia, Vietnam as well as the China market. The collaboration between both international companies aims to combine synergies and provide brands and key clients’ 360°marketing strategies and turnkey solutions in Asia.

Gushcloud International CEO Ng Siang Hang explained that partnership with Daehong Communications brought more confidence in targeting global brands and offering them 360° marketing solutions in Asia. He also said that it aims to build some of Lotte Group’s key brands and kickstart its entry into Southeast Asia.

“We are very honoured to be working with Daehong Communications, under the Lotte Group umbrella on this partnership. We believe that Daehong Communications will bring in its 36 years of deep insights and experience into this partnership. We will learn from them and support their move into Asia,” Althea Lim, co-founder and co-CEO of Gushcloud International said.

“We believe that with Gushcloud being our partner in Asia, we will be able to tap on their existing nine offices and relationship network with top influencers, to help global brands solve their marketing problems more efficiently,” Kap Lee, CEO of Daehong Communications said.

This is not the first time Gushcloud International has worked closely with South Korea-based companies to bolster its expansion plans. Last year, it secured a US$3 million funding led by YG Investment, the investment arm under South Korean music label and entertainment agency YG Group.

Gushcloud International currently has offices in nine countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and many more. Earlier this year, it struck a joint venture with YAN Digital, the digital arm of YAN Media Group, a leading youth entertainment multi-media company based in Vietnam. Called GY Entertainment, the JV aims to create a new influencer management and marketing company in Vietnam.
