Gushcloud Agency and YAN Digital, the digital arm of YAN Media Group, a leading youth entertainment multi-media company based in Vietnam, has entered into a new joint venture called GY Entertainment, to create a new influencer management and marketing company in Vietnam.
Headed by Ng Siang Hang, CEO of Gushcloud Agency, this new joint venture aims to leverage off YAN Media Group’s leading youth presence via YAN TV in Vietnam’s entertainment industry and Gushcloud International’s regional network in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Korea, Japan and Los
GY Entertainment hopes to build out the digital entertainment and distribution infrastructure in Vietnam. The company will engage and work closely with local influencers and content creators in helping them to build a presence in and out of Vietnam. According to the agency, Vietnam boasts a population size of 92.7 million people, with 58% of the population under 35 years old.
The country has a strong digital penetration at 50%, and is on a fast growing track. Based on a recent e-marketer report, the average digital user in Vietnam spends more than three hours per day in an online environment. Vietnam also boasts a strong growth of digital influencers and creators. In a recent report by Statista.com, YouTube penetration in Vietnam is the highest within Southeast Asia. Vietnam is also the 14th country with the most number of active YouTube users.

GY Entertainment will be managing top digital influencers, creators and talents within the Gushcloud and YAN Digital roster. The company will also focus on helping global brands reach out to the Vietnamese audiences through these influencers’ and creators’ digital platforms. The company also hopes to create more collaboration opportunities for Vietnamese influencers and creators to co-create more content on an Asian and global front.
With this joint venture, GY Entertainment will also build out the digital entertainment group within Vietnam by partnering up with these top influencers and creators to create more merchandises and tours and festivals.
