Founder and managing director of Citrus PR Ian Grundy (pictured) has folded his company, moving to join Adecco as head of marketing and communications.Grundy told Marketing that the company closed in June, and all contracts with its clients had either ended, or are in a succession plan to move over to other agencies, though he declined to specify which these were. With regards to the staff, Grundy said two of the agency's staff have joined Adecco with him while the rest have found jobs elsewhere in the digital or public relations industry. Some of Citrus' clients included Fitness-Buffet, Racer's Toolbox,  Bosch, Peter Knipp Holdings and more. The agency first debuted in January 2009.On the reasons for closure, Grundy said: "Although Citrus PR was successful, the decision to close the business was due to my desire to return to the corporate sector on the client side - specifically to Adecco Asia".Grundy now heads up marketing and communications human resources firm Adecco for eight countries across the Asia region, excluding Japan. He will be based in Singapore.
