Groupon has launched Groupon Partner Network (GPN), a proprietary local e-commerce affiliate marketing platform designed to help online publishers monetise their online presence through the promotion of Groupon deals.
Through an extensive suite of publishing tools including retargeting, GPN distributes the most relevant Groupon deals across partner websites and apps, helping to increase the visibility and distribution of merchants' features and drive purchases. GPN is now available in more than 30 countries worldwide, including seven markets across APAC: Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Thailand and Philippines.
Affiliate Partners using GPN have access to a host of resources to help them market Groupon, track their performance and gross higher commissions. Some of the resources include real-time reports on sales volume and click-through rates, bookmarks, and widgets, and open application programming interface (APIs) to access thousands of deals from Groupon.
"GPN is the latest example of Groupon's dedication to provide a comprehensive, effective and large-scale marketing platform for local and national merchants to help grow their business,” Groupon head of affiliate marketing APAC, Dhruv Shanker (pictured) said.
“GPN is another component in our mission to becoming the world’s biggest local e-commerce marketplace.”
Rolled out across more than 10,000 content publishers globally, Groupon counts some of the most popular websites, blogs and apps as partners, including: BigSale.sg, Singapore-promotions.com and Clicplan.com.
"The introduction of GPN has enabled us to strengthen our existing client relationships while also appeal to new customers. We have seen this play a direct role in building our business and driving stronger results,” Steven Boon, executive director at BigSale.sg said.
