Auke Boersma (pictured), former head of supply, Asia Pacific at GroupM has joined social media marketing platform Adgorithmics as COO, according to his LinkedIn. Adgorithmics' platform is powered by AI and aims to deliver full funnel marketing campaigns across multiple social media platforms and uses machine learning to detect patterns and trends across data points. The company is headquartered in Tokyo and is led by CEO Michael Kim.
Marketing has reached out to Adgorithmics for comment. Meanwhile, GroupM confirmed to Marketing that it does not intend to fill the APAC head of supply position.
In his previous role as APAC head of supply at GroupM, Boersma led the supply business under the agency's trading and investment team, focusing on the set up, leadership and promotion of the overall programmatic supply strategy with trusted partners, client and agency teams, his LinkedIn said.
Before that, he was managing director, APAC at Light Reaction, Xaxis' multi-screen performance business, which provides an outcomes-based, pay-for-performance media model for advertising. He also worked at loyalty marketing platform SCOUPY, online video advertising platform SpotX and European Directories.
