GrabExpress empowers Indonesia's mompreneurs with 'Ibu sudah oke' campaign

GrabExpress, the on-demand delivery service under Grab, has launched a new campaign titled “Ibu sudah oke” to empower Indonesian women - particularly mompreneurs - to manage their businesses more productively while balancing family life.
Through this campaign, GrabExpress is introducing the Ongkir Unlimited subscription plan, an affordable delivery solution designed to help small business owners streamline their daily operations. For just IDR 1,000 (6 US cents) every two weeks, users can enjoy a flat-rate delivery fee for all distances, reducing logistical burdens and improving efficiency.
According to internal data, 61% of business owners on Grab’s platform are women, most of whom operate home-based MSMEs. This aligns with national statistics showing that the majority of MSMEs in Indonesia are run by women.

“The ‘Ibu sudah oke’ initiative was introduced to promote digital inclusion, enhance business capacity, and strengthen the confidence of women entrepreneurs, including mothers who run businesses while managing their households,” said Hadi Koe, head marketing for platform, GrabExpress, lending, insurance, digital goods, and kios, Grab Indonesia.
“With that, GrabExpress supports the empowerment of mompreneurs through an enabling ecosystem - spanning technology, community, and efficient delivery solutions such as Ongkir Unlimited. We believe that when mothers become more productive, the impact extends beyond their businesses to family well-being and the strengthening of the wider economy,” he added.
To mark the launch, GrabExpress hosted a gathering in Jakarta titled “Musyawarah nasional ibupreneur Indonesia”, bringing together hundreds of mothers and small business owners from women-led communities including Popmama, Yummy, and Wondermama. Attendees took part in skill-building workshops - ranging from bento cake making to flower and hamper arrangement - while testing GrabExpress’s Ongkir Unlimited and instant delivery features.
GrabExpress currently offers two delivery options tailored for small business needs: GrabExpress Instant (1-hour delivery) for urgent shipments, and GrabExpress Instant Hemat (2-3 hours) for cost-effective deliveries with planned schedules. Both come with door-to-door service and live tracking features, allowing mompreneurs to choose between #BisaCepatAtauEkonomis depending on their requirements.
The initiative also builds on Grab’s broader efforts to support women-led MSMEs through the Klub Juragan GrabExpress, a development programme offering business training, digital marketing workshops, and networking opportunities. The club now counts over 51,000 members, 70% of whom are women.
“We hope to continue introducing initiatives that address the needs of mompreneurs and MSMEs in Indonesia by leveraging the services within Grab’s ecosystem, helping their businesses become more productive, profitable, and sustainable,” Koe said.
