Grab Malaysia and Maxis Malaysia have collaborated to make the journeys of Pokemon Go fans easier – through a series of promotions from free car rides to in-game credits. This is in anticipation of the game which has been a global hit and is set to be launched soon in Malaysia.Grab and Hotline will allow players to book a free ride to the nearest PokeStop by selecting the PokeMobile button on their Grab App. To top things off, PokeMobiles are also specially equipped with refreshments and even a power charger for the phone, along with a Hotlink Fast 4G widescreen monitor.PokeMobile riders who are also Hotlink riders stand to gain extra advantages such as free in-game PokeCoins credits to help players level up faster.“We are aware there is a huge Pokémon following in Malaysia and we wanted to join in the trill of the game. As Grab has always been focused on providing safe, comfortable, convenient and affordable rides, we wanted to encourage and help Pokémon Trainers hunt for the Pokémons while traveling from one PokeStop to another safely,” Jaygan Fu, country manager of Grab Malaysia said.“Hotlink Cash Online’s ambition is to give Hotlink customers the convenience of a single currency for all their app and gaming needs. Before today, our customers could already use their credit to make purchases for popular PC games and mobile apps such as DOTA, League of Legends, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Smule and many others,” Navin Manian, Maxis’ head of prepaid said.To promote the new deals, Hotlink released a video detailing the new promotions. It features a young man playing out the different characters in the popular series such as Ash Ketchum, Brock and Misty and the potential health risks of catching Pokemon outside.Watch the video here:https://youtu.be/ZZXwj4SpHxs
