Govt Singapore has recruited two new members, Kevin Joseph and Damien Cheng, to its Singapore office.
Kevin Joseph (pictured left), joins as senior copywriter from Y&R Singapore, bringing with him over seven years worth of experience from both Y&R and Ogilvy.
Damien Cheng (pictured right), joins GOVT Singapore as an account manager from BatesChi & Partners, having previously been the account handler for Pernod Ricard's Martell and Chivas Regal. Cheng has handled accounts such as Toyota and DSTA at the start of his career at Dentsu, followed by working on Sentosa, Lenovo, Resorts World Sentosa and Asia-Pacific Breweries during his time at Grey Group Singapore.
In his new position in Govt, Cheng will lead a team of three to work on Hennessy, Maggi and leading the regional Betty Crocker and MINI Asia accounts.
Leon Lai, managing director of Govt Singapore, said: "Being able to attract two key talents is testament that the agency is moving in the right direction. [...] Being an independent is a double edged sword, yet the fact that we've been consistently attracting talents to join us on this adventure of ours, gives us the belief that we can compete."
