Google’s Joanna Catalano joins Dentsu’s iProspect as APAC CEO

Dentsu Aegis Network appoints Joanna Catalano (pictured) as CEO of iProspect Asia Pacific. She will be responsible for market leading search and performance agency from January 2017. Previously, Catalano was the head of APAC agency business at Google.

Most recently, Ruth Stubbs, who has over 25 years of experience in media and digital marketing, was promoted as to global president of iProspect.

Catalano has over 18 years’ experience in the America, Western and Eastern European countries. She has spent the last nine years  in Asia Pacific managing sales and marketing teams, building trusted advisor relationships with multinational companies, and managing high impact change initiatives. Most importantly, she has driven data and insight-led sales and marketing solutions to grow businesses throughout her career at companies such as Google, American Express and Starwood.

Nick Waters, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific said, “There are significant opportunities for growth in the performance sector, and we have big ambitions for the iProspect business. There will be a smooth management transition as Ruth moves into the global CEO role and develops the full agency leadership team.”
