Golin’s Singapore office has appointed Sushiv Mathur as digital director to front the agency’s digital projects with key corporate and consumer clients such as McDonald’s, SATS and Lux Global to name a few. Mathur will report to Tarun Deo, managing director of Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The move comes weeks after Allanjit Singh, who previously Golin Singapore as director of digital communications, joined Havas Media.
Mathur brings more than 10 years of experience in digital communications and relationship management across Asia Pacific and has been based in Australia, India and Singapore. Previously, Mathur served as account director at Wunderman Group where his regional clients included FMCG, healthcare and technology brands like Energizer, Schick, GlaxoSmithKline and Motorola Solutions. At Golin, Mathur will drive digital solutions by integrating insights, creative content, strategy and analytics generated from the specialised g4 communities.
“As our new digital director, Mathur will enhance our clients’ marketing communications by incorporating innovative digital strategies to ensure they engage consumers with the right tone and message across platforms efficiently,” Deo said.
“In this cluttered communications space, brands need to be where its consumers are. Golin recognises the importance for our clients to stand out by listening to consumers with intelligent measurement analytics; anticipating their needs and wants; producing engaging content with the right channels; and building loyalty by being responsive. A good communications strategy should assimilate this loop seamlessly within the digital ecosystem, creating a complete brand experience for consumers,” Mathur added.
