Golin has given current managing director of Hong Kong Jane Morgan (pictured) the new role of head of client services for APAC. In this newly created role, Morgan will further build on the agency’s dedication to client excellence, taking a refreshed look at how Golin delivers works for its clients. She will be working with account teams across the region to ensure they have the frameworks needed to deliver works that create changes and
impact, in line with Golin’s new brand purpose.
One of her first remits will be creating the Asia Top Client Leadership Programme, aimed at giving exclusive opportunities and experiences to Golin Asia’s largest clients.
“I’m excited about this new opportunity, and working with our teams across the region. Client expectations have changed and we need to respond to them accordingly by refreshing not only our offers and services, but our entire approach to client support systems, as their needs change and their challenges evolve," Morgan said.
Morgan will also continue her current role as managing director of Hong Kong and continue to report to Darren Burns, president, Asia Pacific.
“She is perfectly suited to this new role given her record as an innovator in the region around talent, mental health, as well as diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and her ability to create high performing teams in the region that deliver excellent results for clients. Morgan has a great vision for the role that will deliver enhanced value for clients but also, importantly, support the development of our client leaders," Burns said.
Golin Asia Pacific continues to strengthen its leadership with Morgan’s appointment notice following the recent promotion of Shouvik Prasanna Mukherjee to chief creative officer for the region. In this role, Mukherjee champions Golin’s data-driven, earned-first creative ideas to inspire and create change for clients across the region in this newly created role. In addition to his chief creative officer role, Mukherjee will continue to lead the data, analytics and content team in Singapore that he was overseeing in his previous role.
According to Golin’s spokesperson, the agency created Mukherjee’s new role as it wanted to up its ante on creativity and also dial it up in Asia.
