Golf Vacations Malaysia Edition, previously published by Mongoose Publications, has been relaunched by Big Shot Media.
The magazine focuses on the golf lifestyle with content encompassing hotel reviews, insights on the latest gears and industry trends, health and wellness tips, motoring articles as well as editor’s picks on the best fine-dining locations in town.
Spearheading the title’s Malaysian revival is Tony Francis who has 10 years of experience in the publication industry after retiring as associate editor of the News Straits Times.
The magazine targets advertisers of high-end prestige brands only, in compliance with their readership demographic of English literate, mature high income males.
Golf Vacations Malaysia Edition has an initial print run of 19,000 copies and the October-December 2013 issue is on sale nationwide at select bookstores.
Louis Foo, managing director of Big Shot Media told A+M that based on the response, plans for 2014 include bi-monthly issues and a tablet application.
