GOJEK brings onboard Esso as partner

GOJEK has partnered with both Esso and DBS bank to provide its drivers with competitive fuel rebates. This is part of the ride-hailing company’s mission to lower the operating costs for driver-partners and provide better earnings stability.From 1 April, GOJEK driver-partners will be given a discount for petrol purchases at Esso's retail service stations around Singapore. In addition, driver-partners will also be provided with additional fuel rebates of up to about 12%. This comes as part of GOJEK’s ongoing partnership with DBS, driver-partners who use their DBS/POSB Debit Cards to pay for petrol at Esso petrol stations will also receive additional rebates, with details on this scheme to be unveiled within the next month.This comes as GOJEK recently collaborated with Doctor Anywhere and Gigacover to offer medical consultation services and prolonged medical insurance to its driver-partners. This was part of GOJEK's strategy to boost the well-being of driver-partners.GOJEK first launched its beta ride-hailing service in Singapore late 2018. Since then, it has marketed itself with quirky campaigns and ads. The Singapore office currently houses around 150 employees across the technology, operational and regional functions. It currently works with Havas Media for media, BLK J for creative and Ogilvy for social communications and PR duties.The ride-hailing company appointed Lien Choong Luen as general manager of GOJEK Singapore earlier this year.
