Goh leaves Microsoft for Maxus

Maxus has appointed Lena Goh as managing director of Maxus Singapore.

With effect from January next year, Goh will be running the Singapore office and report to GroupM CEO for Singapore Jon Thurlow and Maxus' APAC CEO Neil Stewart.

She will join Maxus Singapore after having served as the corporate and business communications lead for Microsoft Asia for the last four years. During her stint at Microsoft she was involved in the launch of key products such as Windows 7, Windows 8, Office 365 and Windows Phone.

She has over 16 years experience in the technology and marketing field and has held both local and regional marketing roles across local telecom operators such as SingTel, M1 and phone manufacturer, Motorola.

Stewart said Goh was identified through an "extensive search" within and outside the Group M network.

"Our Singapore business is now at the stage where we need someone with both local Singaporean experience and deep multi-market regional experience to lead the team," he added.
