Go Shop has tied up with Booking.com to offer customers a wide selection of accommodations at the best prices through Go Shop’s website and mobile app. This new offering ties in with Go Shop’s strategy of creating an ever-expanding suite of one-stop offering to customers.
The partnership will connect Go Shop customers to Booking.com’s selection of accommodations, such as apartments, vacation homes and luxury resorts. To use the new service, customers can click on the Booking.com banner via Go Shop’s website or its mobile app, select their choice of destination, choose their preferred accommodation and make a booking. All Go Shop customers are also eligible to earn Go Shop points once they have made a full payment for an accommodation with Booking.com at the end of your holiday.
“Our partnership with Booking.com will allow customers to book their choice travel destination directly through Go Shop, enabling our customers to enjoy the best deals on Booking.com and at the same time, earn Go Shop points which can be used to redeem over 10,000 products available on Go Shop. This is a compelling offer which will resonate well with our customers,” Grace Lee, CEO of Go Shop, said.
Earlier this year, Go Shop recorded an 11% increase in revenue to RM290 million for the 2017 financial year, which ended 31 January 2018. Approximately 35.3% of total sales were generated through mobile and online platforms, and monthly active users on the mobile app also increased by 32% quarter-on-quarter.
