In a statement to Marketing, Ogilvy Singapore’s managing partner, Emily Poon, said the agency “couldn’t be more energised by this new partnership with GOJEK Singapore”. “[The] launch of the beta version of GOJEK Singapore’s app marked an exciting early milestone in our collaboration that will see us working closely on an integrated communications campaign,” Poon said.
This encompasses PR and social strategy, that will bring the brand’s unique story and competitive ride hailing offering to Singapore’s commuters, she added.

Yesterday, GOJEK rolled out the beta version of its app on iOS and Android app stores in Singapore, marking the start of a gradual roll out across the island as more driver-partners are onboarded over time to feed consumer demand. The company recently brought on board Archishman Ramasubramanian as VP-head of marketing in Singapore.
Meanwhile, at Ogilvy, Poon will be handling PR and social capabilities alongside managing partner Matt Collette, who recently joined as head of social practice, as group MD Ee Rong Chong departs from the agency at the end of January 2019.
