Glico Indonesia taps local actress Chelsea Islan for 11.11 campaign

Glico Indonesia has launched a new campaign in conjunction with 11 November for Pocky, which is also known as Pocky Day. The campaign features local actress Chelsea Islan (pictured), who is a brand ambassador, and also coincides with the debut of its game application Smile Shuffle.

The campaign also saw the running of Glico’s Pocky Road Trip which launched on 20 October 2017 in Jakarta and runs in various Indonesia cities such as Bandung and Yogyakarta. The tour, which showcases a Pocky Smile Van, will include various activities such as games which offer Pocky-themed merchandise, an 11.11 Jackpot game, giant-sized Pocky and various Pocky products which participants can sample. The roadshow will conclude on 30 November 2017.

“With Pocky Day, we hope to bring happiness the world over. Pocky’s slogan ‘Share Happiness!’ aims at encouraging everyone to smile and share happiness anytime and anywhere. For a little smile can brighten the day of everyone around you,” Kei Tasaki, sales and marketing director of Glico Indonesia, said.
