Last month, Garuda Indonesia transported 400 pilgrims directly from Jakarta to Jedda. Onboard, both male and female passengers exclusive products from the collaboration. These were namely the 'Journey of the Soul’ Umrah and Hajj package from Wardah and the ‘Towards New Beginning’ Umrah and Hajj package from Kahf.

According to a video on Wardah’s Instagram page, Harman Subakat, CEO of Paragon Corp and Irfan Setiaputra, CEO of Garuda Indonesia, distributed these Umrah & Hajj packages along with Wardah’s brand ambassador Dewi Sandra to the passengers themselves.

The packages contain products with no alcohol or fragrances and made with natural ingredients. The products included were cleansers, sun shields, moisterisers, body wash, deodorant, and more.

The products ensure pilgrims maintain moisturised and healthy skin in extreme weather and climates, so they can comfortably and confidently embark on their #PerjalananBerkahPenuhMakna (meaningful journey).

CEO of Paragon Corp, Harman Subakat said that the purpose of partnering with Garuda Indonesia was to bring comfort to pilgrims embarking on their pilgrimage.  “We want our consumers to have the best experience during their sacred, spiritual journey and rest assured that their skincare needs are cared for by a trusted brand," he said.

Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfan Setiaputra, expressed appreciation for the partnership as a way of honouring the airline’s commitment to supporting local industries. "This collaboration with Paragon is part of our commitment to support local industries and accelerate the national economy recovery by providing a platform to introduce the local halal-certified products, especially for our valued customers," he added.
