Gamuda Berhad, Malaysia’s leading infrastructure and property developer, has appointed Asia PR Werkz a to handle its public and media relations matters in Singapore following a closed-door pitch.
The agency will be working on a retainer basis to provide strategic counsel work for Gamuda, and will be responsible for all local media outreach on behalf of the infrastructure giant.The agency will also work on strategy development for Gamuda for the region.
Listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia, Gamuda is known for delivering numerous large-scale projects in Asia and the Middle East Regions. The infrastructure giant also made its mark in Singapore earlier this year when it entered a joint venture with Evia Real Estate and Maxin to acquire a condominium housing development site in Toa Payoh for SG$345.86 million.
Gamuda Land is among the top property developers in Malaysia with significant and growing interest in Asia and Oceania. The company’s total revenue for FY ending July 2015 was RM4.7 billion with a market capitalisation of about RM11 billion.
