Insurance giant FWD has kicked of the year by calling a review of its creative services in Hong Kong and across the region.
The insurance giant confirmed to Marketing that the pitch in Hong Kong is in its early stages, involving incumbent agency The Gate and McCann.
Regionally, the incumbent agency is BBH, which was responsible for FWD’s major brand initiative “Get Ready To Live”.
The regional arm of the creative tender has not yet started, but is expected to commence within months.
The creative component of FWD’s marketing mix will continue to have a heavy focus on digital and social media, in addition to traditional executions.
“BBH and The Gate have done a great job, but we are a company that is always on the lookout for something new,” an FWD spokesperson told Marketing.
Media agencies on FWD’s roster, including PHD, MEC and Vizuem, will remain the same.
FWD has business across Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand and the Philippines.
