Future Music targets youth brands

The Future Music Festival Asia is seeking sponsorship for its two-day music festival, taking place in March next year.

Organised by Australian-based Future Entertainment and events company Livescape Asia, the FMFA is expected to draw about 40,000 guests per day, 30% of which are tourists from key markets like Singapore, Indonesia and India.

The inaugural event, held in March this year, attracted more than 25,000 people.

Red Bull has already confirmed as a sponsor, but event organisers said mroe will be secured soon.

"We're close to locking down partners in the segments of telco, airline, car, beverage, hotel and FMCG," Iqbal Ameer (pictured), director at Livescape Asia, told A+M.

"This is a fantastic platform for brands who wish to reach out to tourists in the region, especially of the youth segment."

The organisers will launch a long-term marketing campaign, from pre to post-event activations, giving advertisers a more sustainable marketing platform.

A mini house party with special guest stars from the line-up as well as contests are also on the cards.

The FMFA is supported by Tourism Malaysia and will feature a line-up of artistes from various genres such as Armin Van Buuren, Rita Ora, Psy and Temper Trap.
