Prior to that, his role at Vizeum as CEO Asia Pacific saw him shaping Vizeum’s market proposition, marketing strategy, P&L responsibility. He was also responsible for new business, organic revenue growth and merger and acquisitions, his LinkedIn said. In a statement to Marketing, DAN’s spokesperson said Pointer’s previous roles have not been replaced yet. Marketing has also reached out to LanciaConsult for additional information about Pointer’s new role.
Before he joined Vizeum, Pointer was the managing partner at Carat London for over two years, serving key clients such as eBay and Nokia Global. In a previous interview with Marketing, Pointer described his management style as fairly laid back, but with high standards. “As long as those [standards] are met and we’re delivering on time and on or above the clients’ expectations, it’s happy days. The team would probably add that I’m a real stickler for accuracy of detail and punctuality,” he added.
